Waste water treatment plant AT 150 oval Zamkovského chata, Vysoké Tatry

The sewage treatment plant is located southwest of the Zamkovská chata building at an altitude of 1475 m above sea level. m., in the National Nature Reserve of Studená dolina and ensures the cleaning of sewage waste water produced in the restaurant and in the cottage.

The WWTP is implemented as an underground facility on top covered by a roof, which is connected by an inflow pipe and an outflow pipe with an outlet to the recipient. Wastewater flows by gravity to the pumping station, from where it is pumped through the discharge pipe to the biological reactor of the treatment plant for 150 PE. Cleaned waters are discharged into the recipient.

 

The wastewater treatment plant was transported by helicopter to the installation site.
